Gross!

Yesterday I had exploratory surgery to find out why I've been having persistent and worsening abdominal pain. After several different options we had originally opted for birth control to try to stop ovulation all together. After a week of fairly intense pain we decided to go ahead in and have a look around. Needless to say, it was GROSS! I have the pictures to prove it, however I will spare you that little visual aid. Instead picture Spider Man's web shooter having a party in my abdomen. Scar tissue was all over the place connecting stuff to other stuff that really shouldn't be connected. Clear as mud huh? My wonderful doctor was able to cut most of it loose, or out, or whatever they do for that. Anyway, now here I lay trying to entertain myself. The pain is still pretty intense and now I'm sporting two new scars. Yea! This too shall pass; right? Bring on the narcotics!!!! Oh and could you bring me a drink, and while your up.........
