When I say NO I Mean NO!!

This morning BB was annoying DQ as usual and this was overheard " when I say no I mean no!" I wish I had a recorder so that I can play that over and over when I am trying to reason with them about why they can't jump off the roof, paint the walls neon colors, put the dog in the dryer, ect ect. (smile) Seriously though, I found it so funny to hear her and realize how much they pick up listening to their parents!!

So Christmas is over (frown), and on to the New Year. As I sit (yeah, I have time to sit! ) and ponder over the dreaded resolutions I have decided that I am not going to make one. I am going to set a vision; details pending..... I hope everyone had a blessed day, I know we enjoyed the day just playing and napping and eating. We always enjoy just staying home and doing absolutely nothing. We did join hubby's family last evening for a few hours, but we just had us and it was fabulous.

Tomorrow takes us the the beach to see my parents. I am really looking foward to this, I love it there. They live in this great condo with the neatest group of people. They have been so blessed with the group of friends they have made down there! In fact, they party all the time it seems!! AHHH, the good life of retirement. I hope when hubby and I retire ( if that still exists when we reach that age) we will be as blessed with loved ones as they are. I always look forward to visiting!!
