The Hot Dog Brigade

We currently have a house guest which brings our grand total to 3 wiener dogs!! First we have Spike. She's small, thin, and black. She also needs to shut her trap!! She's our "talker" (that's an understatement!). Next we have Bear. He's long haired and a blondish red color. He's the baby of the group. He a kissy, furry little (well not really little) snuggle bug who adores BB. He follows him EVERYWHERE!! Finally, we have Lucy (hubby's brother's dog). Lucy is fat, red, and fiesty! She bit DQ, she bit hubby, and well, she adores me! What can I say, I am after all charming, and pretty (sorry gorgeous is more accurate), and smart(oops, brilliant I mean), and........ Well I could just go on all day, but you don't really need me to tell you something you already know!! LOL

Speaking of dogs. I would like to say congrats to mom and dad on their new little bundle of joy. They have got a new puppy. Just let me say, I'm now a proud big sister! Yay mom and dad! Have fun potty training.

Well, I went to my doc this week, and I am having surgery this June. The good news is that it's not going to be a big deal. Two wks recovery, I think that'll be ok! I'll just have hubby, BB, and DQ wait on me hand and foot, take lots of dope, and eat all my favorite foods courtesy of hubby!! Sound like a plan? Good! I thought so too.

Well, BB is currently standing behind me looking over my shoulder and begging for me to ground his little tush, so I guess I better go. (BTW, that worked! He just left to go do his chores! LOL)

OK...if the dr. says 2 week recovery time, that translates to 2 real months...and even after the initial recovery time, I think you will need at least 6 or 8 more months of "no vacuum or cooking" recovery...I heard vacuuming and cooking would set the recover procedure back at least 2-3 years!
